The Southwest Association (SWA) is part of the Michigan Conference of the United Church of Christ. Our purpose is to nurture and support the churches and authorized ministers of the Association. We do this through the work of two primary committees: the Association Council and the Church & Ministry Committee. The association is supported by many volunteers and the association minister, as well as the Michigan Conference staff.

The SWA Minister is a part time called position that works to improve the connection and relationships between the Association and its pastors and congregations as well as the relationships between the churches of the association.
